Getting Started
Dish Odyssey is a gamified cooking app that helps you level up your cooking skills. Create an account using Apple, Google, Facebook, or email to start your culinary adventure.
Your First Steps
- Download Dish Odyssey from the App Store or Google Play
- Create an account or sign in with Apple, Google, Facebook, or email
- Browse recipes and find something you'd like to cook
- Complete a recipe to earn XP and start leveling up
- Check back daily for new challenges and bonus XP
Account Management
How to Edit Your Profile
- Open Dish Odyssey and tap the Profile tab
- Tap the Edit button next to your name
- Update your display name or username
- Tap Save to confirm your changes
How to Delete Your Account
You can delete your Dish Odyssey account at any time directly from the app. Here's how:
- Open the Dish Odyssey app
- Tap the Profile tab at the bottom of the screen
- Scroll down to find Delete Account
- Tap Delete Account
- Read the confirmation message and tap Delete to confirm
What happens when you delete your account?
When you delete your account:
- Your personal information (profile, username, email) will be permanently deleted
- Your cooking history, achievements, and progress will be permanently deleted
- Recipes you created will remain visible but will be anonymized (attributed to "Deleted User")
- This action cannot be undone
Can I recover a deleted account?
No. Once your account is deleted, it cannot be recovered. If you'd like to use Dish Odyssey again, you'll need to create a new account.
Troubleshooting
I can't sign in to my account
If you're having trouble signing in:
- Make sure you're using the same sign-in method you used to create your account (Apple, Google, Facebook, or email)
- Check your internet connection
- Try closing and reopening the app
- If using email, make sure you've verified your email address
The app isn't loading properly
- Check your internet connection
- Try closing and reopening the app
- Make sure you have the latest version installed
- If issues persist, try uninstalling and reinstalling the app
